Pambazuka - Pan-Africanism or imperialism? Unity and struggle towards a new democratic Africa

"Fourth, therefore, Pan-Africanism must be a bottom–up people's ideology putting pressures on their states and monitoring their actions rather than a top–down statist programme or plan.
